Before parts can ship, the STC permission paperwork needs the aircraft owner's name, the model and the tail number. The order form asks for them.
The tail spring takes a beating on every landing. The titanium kit replaces the steel spring with a stronger, lighter one that won't rust, and it comes with everything needed to mount it.
The spring is 1.27 inches in diameter, so it takes a tailwheel with the matching 1.27-inch hub. Pair it with the Landing Gear Works 10-inch (XPM1-8) or 14-inch (XPM1-5) tailwheel.
Each piece is also sold on its own, and BK 30 is the titanium saddle hardware kit. Call if you need a single part.
“We haven't experienced a single flat tire in 4 years and are still using the original tires!”
“Your tail wheel feels much more solid and controllable.”
“I would not be without this tailwheel.”
